DICE unites research institutions, city administrations, industry partners, and startups in a structured innovation network. Its governance model is open and participatory, with members shaping the cluster's direction through thematic working groups and contributing to shared strategic agendas aligned with the European Green Deal, the New European Bauhaus, and Circular Economy goals.
The cluster offers members concrete support across four areas: project development and EU funding assistance (including Horizon Europe and Built4People calls); access to testbeds, living labs, and digital twin infrastructure; a digital collaboration platform promoting open science and open innovation; and strategic networking connecting academia, government, industry, and civil society.
DICE is aligned with European innovation frameworks and actively participates in partnerships such as the Built4People network and the New European Bauhaus, positioning Hamburg as a leading hub for the digital future of the built environment.
