Principles – DICE Status

Our Cluster is actively engaged in clustering and Joint road mapping with trans-disciplinary clusters.

  1. Whole Value Chain
Our cluster gathers stakeholders from the whole built environment innovation value chain (e.g., anyentity or organization representing academia, research and industrial innovators, architects andcontractors, end users’ associations, local authorities, etc.)
  2. Multi-objectives – NEB principles
Our cluster addresses NEB values, and actively promotes some or all of them.
  3. Cross-sectoral – Construction + digital/tech sectors
Our cluster is focused on the Construction sector but actively engages in clustering and joint roadmapping with several clusters from different sectors, which members might be trans-disciplinary.
  4. National + EU Outreach
Our cluster is local/ regional with strong connections to one or a few other local/regional clusters fromthe same country (i.e., joint activities, exchanges between members) and/ or is vertically integrated inthe national construction technology platform.
  5. Cross-border
Our cluster actively promotes interregional activities and programmes to ist members: e.g. workshops, joint events.
  6. Access to Testbeds
Our cluster actively seeks testing opportunities at the European Level such as Oopen Innovation Testbeds for its members and continually informs their members about such tools and support services. These are, for example, the services of Open Innovation Testbeds like METABUILDING LABS, iClimabuilt, MEZeroE providingco-development and testing opportunities with real users (LivingLabs)
