Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Rainer Noennig
is Professor for Digital City Science at the HCU HafenCity Universität in Hamburg and also directs the WISSENSARCHITEKTUR Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture at TU Dresden. From 1992 to 1998, he studied architecture at Bauhaus Universität Weimar, Polytech Krakow and Waseda University Tokyo. Between 1998 and 2001 he practiced as architect in Tokyo. From 2001 he was Research Associate at TU Dresden, where he was appointed Junior Professor for Knowledge Architecture (2009-2015).
He worked at different Universities outside Germany, such as the Universita degli Studi dell l'Aquila, Italy, the ISEN Toulon, France, TU Woronesch, Russia and the Toyo Universität Tokyo.Jörg Rainer Noennig published several books and more than hundred scientific articles and essays, and was awarded with the Grand Prix of the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).

Fernando Montaño
is an architect and urban planner graduated from the National University of Colombia before obtaining an International Master of Engineering in Landscape Architecture from HSWT-Freising. With a portfolio spanning Latin America, Europe, and China, he has worked on diverse projects at the at the nexus of design, planning, and research. His expertise lies in integrating digital tools with public engagement, social insights, and location-based data to drive innovative urban solutions. Currently pursuing a PhD at the HCU- Digital City Science, focused on digital participatory platforms for open urban e-governance, aiming to empower communities and foster inclusive decision-making in city development. Since January 2024 he is working at the HCU for the i-LUM Project.

Paul Scibiorski
studied East Slavic Studies and Intercultural Economic Communication at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität in Jena (B.A), as well as East European Studies at the University of Hamburg (M.A). Moreover, he holds a Scrum Master and Product Owner Certificate in Agile Project Management. Previously he has worked as a Process Manager at the Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron and has a variety of Management experiences in different sectors. He is currently working as a Lab Manager and Coordinator for Digital City Science at HCU, where he is responsible for the lab administration.

Mahshid Hasani
is currently working as a research assistant at Digital City Science (DCS) under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Rainer Noennig. She is enrolled in the international Master's program Resource Efficiency in Architecture and Planning (REAP) at HafenCity University Hamburg (HCU), where she focuses on sustainable urban development and the use of digital tools and data platforms in the built environment.
She is a trained architect with professional experience in architectural offices, where she worked on various urban and building-scale projects. Her work has included conceptual design, visualization, and 3D modeling. She holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Art, Tehran. In addition to her role at DCS, she has contributed to interdisciplinary research projects at HCU, including work on decentralized stormwater management, and has supported the REAP program as a tutor.
